2019 Schedule

Thursday December 5- Check in and Weigh Ins
11:30 Building Opens
12:30 Coaches Meeting
1pm Check In and Early weigh ins- Must be paid by December 4th at noon along with full entry payment. 
5:30 Coaches Meeting
6pm General Check In weigh ins for reams not in the early weigh in. Any athlete who is on a team and missed the early weigh in will go to the mat that their team was assigned to.
 
Friday December 6
7:30am Building opens
9am Wrestling begins on 40 mats
 
Saturday December 7
7:30am Building opens
9am Wrestling begins on 40 mats
 
Sunday December 8
7:30 am Building opens
8:15 am Church Service on mats
9am Wrestling begins on 40 mats (3 rounds- 9,10:30,12)
Wrestling general ends by 2pm Sunday
2019 Holiday Duals will be December 6-8
2020 Holiday Duals will be December 11-13

***I’ve been to just about every Major Tournament in the country for youth Wrestling. The Virginia Challenge National Holiday Duals year in and year out is the toughest in the United States. You are guaranteed 10

***Jr. Terps compete in 4000 matches each season. The Virginia Challenge National Holiday Duals is the most competitive and best run administered each Season.
 
Kyle Snyder the current NCAA, World and Olympic Champion wrestled as an 8th grader on our team, his only loss that season was at the Virginia Challenge National Holiday Duals.

Weigh ins and Registration by Teams:
1pm Check In and Early weigh ins- $100 Fee must be paid by December 4th at noon along with full entry payment for . Signs will be posted for the scale assignments.
6pm General Check In weigh ins  - For reams not in the early weigh in. Any athlete who is on a team and missed the early weigh in will go directly to the scale assigned to the team for the day. Signs will be posted
 

Official Elementary Weights K-6 (no 7th grade, not born before 2005) 3 - 90 sec periods

48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 110, 130 PLUS 1lb weight allowance

Official Middle School Weights  6-8 grades (no 9th grade not born before 2003) 3 - 90 sec periods
 
72, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 130, 140, 160, 210 PLUS 1lb weight allowance
