Master Weekend Schedule for the VACW Events March 9-10, 2024

On Site Weigh Ins Only at the VA Beach Field House. Any wrestler without a weight listed in Trackwrestling after weigh ins, will be eliminated without a refund. Must be checked 1 hour before wrestling starts.

All events are scratch weight.

Monday March 4th

Noon- Early registration deadline due for:

For K-8 $30. Beginning; March 5th it will be $40

For High School Grades $40; March 5th it will be $50

Friday March 8th

10am: Deadline for Registration to all Saturday divisions

Weigh ins: For anyone wrestling Saturday and Sunday

3-4pm : $20 Early Weigh ins and Must be registered before 3/10

6pm-7pm- Regular Weigh-ins for any age group

Late sign-ups for wrestling $50 for Freshman, Sophomore, Junior Divisions (This counts for Sunday if they are doing both Saturday and Sunday events)
Late sign-ups for wrestling $50 For Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 Divisions

7:30am-8:00am $10 Last Chance late weigh ins for Super State

Walk In signups $70 Last minute (includes late weigh in fee)

10:00am – Wrestling Begins

Weights 109, 116, 123, 129, 135, 141, 147, 153, 160, 168, 178, 193, 218, 288 ( scratch weight)

Awards to top 4 wrestlers

Teams can score the 1 wrestler per weight for team points

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (WTKR)- It throws classifications out the window and throws wrestlers into a bracket all together to decide superiority.

We're talking about Super States, a tournament put on by Virginia Challenge Wrestling. This allows wrestlers from all across the commonwealth to put their skills to the test against other top competitors in the state. While the VHSL state tournaments are broken down into six classifications, this event puts everybody in each weight class in the same bracket.

Up to 32 wrestlers could compete in each weight class with the top four receiving medals. A total of 744 participants took part in the event that took place on Saturday and Sunday at the Virginia Beach Field House.

Super States also partners with the US Marines , which has representatives on-hand to help present medals and assist.
